Chance at stardom looms
Jimmy Buffett once said he viewed his music career as a summer job. He wanted to hold onto it as long as he could because he enjoyed performing, something he only dreamed about doing when he was a child.
Perhaps that's why local band The Mango Men lists Buffett as one of its main influences. The six-piece band has been entertaining audiences with their sunny brand of summertime music for the past 13 years.
